National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or NEET is a national level common medical entrance examination held on 05 May, 2013 in India conducted by the Medical Council of India(CBSE).
It will allow class XII students to sit in a single entrance examination to get admission to almost all medical colleges in India, including private medical colleges.
355 medical colleges in the country.
Over 10 lakh students are expected to take this examination 2013 next year.
Presently 15% seats are given to the all India students, and 1% seats are given to Government of India. Out of remaining 84% seats, 70% seats are filled with the students of the region and 30% are filled with the students out of region.

BITSAT is an computer based online test for getting admitted into degree programs in Engineering, Sciences, Technology, Pharmacy, Management and Humanities which are offered by BITS Pilani, BITS Hyderabad and BITS Goa campus of the deemed university.
The applications will be availed through online by logging into www.bitsadmission.com from the month of January & last date on receipt of application is last day of January
The exam will held between the month of Month to june.
CLAT – Common Law Admission Test is an all India entrance examination conducted by 11 National Law Universities for admissions to their under-graduate and post graduate degree programmes LLB & LLM
CLAT-2013 Examination conducted the month of may.
The applications will be available in the month of January Approximately 1,000 seats available across 11 law schools.
NID – National Institute of Design conduct an entrance exam for admission to its 4 years Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) and 2 to 2½ year Post-Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (PGDPD).

This exam is conducted as all India entrance exam o admit candidates in various Undergraduates in NIFT colleges across India.
The written exam will be conducted in the month of March.
The applications will be available in the month of November till first few days of January.

Recruitment of candidates to Army, Navy and Air force wings of the National Defence Academy (NDA), is through National Defence Academy Entrance Exam which is held twice a year, generally in the month of April and September.
The notification of NDA Examination will be Published on May 2013.
NDA exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). A candidate must be an unmarried male. The course of training is for three years.
UPSC conducts NDA Exam twice a year. Exam (I) is conducted in April while Exam (II) in August.
Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore provides four year B.Sc (Bachelor of Science) program.
Selection Procedure for IISc:
The selection will be based on the merit lists of the following national examinations: KVPY-SA-2010 (selected as fellows), KVPY-SB (appeared in 2011), KVPY-SX (appeared in 2011), IIT-JEE (appearing in 2012), AIEEE (appearing in 2012), and AIPMT (appearing in 2012).
Students can apply online from February 1st week
This exam is conducted to admit candidates in 3 years Bachelors program for B.Sc hospitality & Hotel management.
The applications will be available from the month of December.
The examination will be conducted in the month of April. The duration of the exam is 180 minutes and number of questions is 200. The exam will be conducted in various cities of India as examination centres.
